Mossu is a speculative project investigating the potential of mosses as CO2 extractors.

Mosses are the ancestors to most plants on Earth. Like other plants they have the ability to absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and transform it into oxygen. However, with the continuous pressures of global warming, plants will soon not be able to convert CO2 into oxygen and will start to emit it.

These moss totems, acting as CO2 extractors highlight the importance of plants in our daily lives and speculate on our world where all plants are artificial.
