Marion Lasserre is a new media artist specializing in research and speculation. Operating in the "phygital" realm, she translates data into sensory experiences that take the shape of narratives, films, and installations. Through her collaboration with scientists, she unveils the hidden processes that weave individual bodies to the fabric of history and culture. Her work has been presented at the Naturalis Museum, Leiden University, the Royal Academy of Science in Amsterdam, in Paris, Milan, London and Dutch Design Week. She was recently commissioned for the Cultural Olympics 2024 to research mathematics and sports through film. In 2024, her work integrated the collection of the Centre National des Arts Plastiques in France.
She is the founder of Studio Zelle, a multidisciplinary design research studio focused on impacting change at the intersection of science and technology.
